Daisy Plates is inspired by my grandmother, Nannie Scales Walker King, (1884-1971) who was an original recycler. A seamstress by trade, she had an uncanny knack for finding a purpose for every left over ribbon or cast-away fabric. Her holiday table was complete with mismatched (yet magically harmonious) tableware. And people.
